Check out what's on this month at Shanghai international schools!

Over the Moon

The Child Academy students took time in September to learn about the Chinese culture and the Moon Festival. They read the story of Chang’e and Hou Yi and then acted out the parts in dramatic play class. In science class, students measured out the ingredients to make Playdoh mooncakes and painted the jade rabbit in art class. They ended the week with a mooncake party, with each child sharing mooncakes brought from home.

EU-phoria!

Britannica International School had a great start to the academic year, welcoming a large cohort of new students and staff. First up in their jam-packed calendar: European Languages Day. Students celebrated by experiencing European cuisine and taking part in cultural activities. Meanwhile, preparations are under way for Britannica's expeditions week for the whole school, taking place after the Golden Week holidays.
