LA avant-pop three-piece Liars make their Shanghai debut on the back of last year's Mess, an album that saw them shift from electronica-drenched beats to a throbbing industrial sound. Formed in 2000, the band also have an extensive art-rock back catalogue to draw on and arrive in town with a strong live reputation.
