Chk Chk Chk !!! MAO Livehouse, cover tbaUS band !!! spearheaded the dance-punk craze in the mid-’90s and have since explored the realms of funk and disco. They make their China debut in support of last year’s THR!!!ER album.

Jiang Ming and Kongshan Band

Chinese folk artist Jiang Ming plays MAO Livehouse with backing from Kongshan Band as part of an extensive nationwide tour.

Liars

MAO Livehouse, cover tba

LA avant-pop three-piece Liars make their Shanghai debut on the back of last year's Mess, an album that saw them shift from electronica-drenched beats to a throbbing industrial sound. Formed in 2000, the band also have an extensive art-rock back catalogue to draw on and arrive in town with a strong live reputation.
